Bathroom Colours for 2024

Over the years, emphasis has been placed on interior designs that are personal and bring us joy. And with that has come the greater use of colour. This ideology isn’t disappearing in 2024, where there is a continued focus on relaxation and wellness within the home.

While colour as a whole has been growing in popularity, certain colour trends have been growing in interest and are likely to have a prominent place in interior design throughout 2024. Let’s take a look…

Saturated Earthy Tones ๐ŸŒฟ

Nature-inspired interior design has been on the rise in recent years. Incorporating colours from the outside brings the dopamine boost we get from nature into the home, creating a calming and rejuvenating environment. With the continued want for relaxing spaces, saturated earthy tones, such as greens, dark purples and blues, are gaining popularity. Deep, saturated tones provide a calming and grounding atmosphere, making them perfect for the luxurious, spa-like bathroom interiors we are all aiming for.

Get the look: This Hackney unit in Earthy Green brings a soothing natural tone to any bathroom design. Whether part of a bold, eclectic design or used as a striking colourful accent, Earthy Green is guaranteed to make your bathroom pop.

Primary Colours ๐Ÿ”ด๐ŸŸก๐Ÿ”ต

Following their increased use in interior design over the last few years, primary colours are growing in popularity. Reds, yellows and blues are being used as accent colours. The striking nature of primary colours allows for greater creativity in bathroom design, resulting in a truly personalised space.

Get the look: Make your primary accents stand out with neutral furniture and ceramics. For example, this Hackney unit in Gloss White allows the blue tiles to pop without distraction. Accompanied by white ceramics, blue becomes the standout feature in this bathroom design. A smaller accent can be added, such as Brushed Brass accessories and brassware to add a secondary colour to the space.

Bold Accents โ•

Another focal colour trend we will see at the forefront of bathroom design this year is bold accents. While this isn’t a new thing and bathroom design has been getting bolder and more intriguing as the years have passed, this year we will see a slight altering of attitudes. Where an accent colour was once used throughout the home to create matching spaces, this is no longer a necessity with more and more people opting for singular pops of colour. This opens up a whole world of creativity and allows you to personalise your bathroom space to your tastes and needs.

Get the look: In this design, the striking contrast between the bright, colourful wallpaper and the Matt Black Hackney unit, accessories and brassware creates a bold accent that draws the eye.

This year is the time to make your bathroom area a truly personal, relaxing space. Bring earthy tones to your design for a tranquil atmosphere, or bold, bright accents for a fun, rejuvenating environment.
